I like this song more than most people I think. It was a bridge into a new depth of lyrics for me. Without it, I don't think I could have written "There Must Be More." It was inspired by the poetic writing of John Mark McMillan. I suppose I was found out pretty quick on that fact. After playing it for my entire church conference, someone came up and said, "Did you write that? It has a John Mark McMillan vibe."
Once, when my daughter Jericho was crying, I turned this song on in a desperate attempt to calm her down. It worked and she fell asleep. Since that day it doesn't always work, but it does always seem to calm her down for a brief moment. I've tried other songs and they don't seem to have the same effect. So this song is for her since she seems to like it.
